Finally able to take the weekend off and drive out of the city after so long! 2017, you’re tough but i’m not complaining at all 🙂 haha! Just glad I finally had time for this!
We recently discovered this floating cottage just a few hours away from Manila. It was a very memorable and unique experience. Perfect if you want to have a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. So far they have 2 floating accommodations, a cottage (P6,000/night for 4 pax) and a suite (P10,000/night for 6 pax). Though we were just 4, we preferred the suite because it has toilet and shower inside the cottage. The suite is actually well-equipped with a small kitchen and griller, TV, solar power and electricity when docked. There is no air-conditioning but i personally didn’t mind. We requested for extra fan and it was pretty cold during the night. The insects bothered me more.
Can you believe we went cruising around the lake aboard our suite? Manong Jun was kind enough to drive us around the lake for about an hour. It was my favorite part! 🙂 Early morning the next day we asked him to drive for us again and dock our suite on the other side of the island, where it’s more peaceful. They offer different water sports like jet ski, kayak, inflatable rides, etc. so you surely won’t get bored. They also have other rooms aside from the floating ones. You can check their website for more details.
Just some tips on what to bring:
- Food, drinks, ice and cooler. There are no restaurants or stores around the area
- Insect repellents and maybe electric fly swatter haha!
- Board games and floaters would be nice too

Enjoying the breeze while cruising

Had a lot of fun and rush playing around too!

’til next time 🙂
